Before you take your bike out on the road, make sure you have the right safety gear. Here are five tips to help make your travels safer.
Wear a helmet. Uncovered, your head is completely vulnerable in a crash. Don’t take chances, get a good helmet and wear it every time you ride.
A good pair of gloves can protect your hands from gravel and rocks, and also absorb vibrations to make for a more comfortable riding experience.
Boots give you better grip while you ride, help to absorb shock and protect you from engine heat or from injury in a crash.
Wear a pair of goggles to keep dirt; gravel and sun glare out of your eyes so you can focus on the road.
Always wear long pants and long sleeves to protect you against gravel, road debris and the sun.
